Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration: First Glimpse of Ram Lalla’s Idol Unveiled Ahead of Special Ceremony

Exciting news surrounds the Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi temple as the face of Ram Lalla’s idol was revealed just days before the much-anticipated Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) reportedly shared a picture showcasing Ram Lalla in a standing posture, adorned with a golden bow and arrow.

Earlier in the day, another image surfaced, revealing the black stone-carved statue with its eyes covered in a yellow cloth, complemented by a garland of roses, as shared by Sharad Sharma, an office-bearer of the VHP.

Crafted by the skilled hands of Mysore-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, the 51-inch idol of the child form of Lord Ram Lalla arrived at the temple on Wednesday night. The installation in the sanctum sanctorum or ‘Garbha Griha’ of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple took place on Thursday afternoon amid sacred chants, as confirmed by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak reassured that all necessary arrangements, including infrastructure, medical facilities, and medicines, have been made for the significant consecration ceremony. The consecration is scheduled for January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various dignitaries expected to attend. The temple will be open to the public the following day.

Champat Rai, the general secretary of the temple trust, shared details about the ceremony, which is set to begin at 12:20 pm and conclude by 1 pm on January 22. Rituals leading up to the consecration have been ongoing since Tuesday and will continue for seven days.

The city of Ayodhya, known as the birthplace of Lord Ram, holds immense spiritual, historical, and cultural significance for the people of India.
